Arsenaal 1824 is a beautiful hospitality business consisting of a Grand Café and Restaurant, both located in the historic national monument Vlaams Arsenaal, right in the center of Nijmegen. This monumental location offers a unique setting, where modern and tasteful design meets historical grandeur.

On Arsenal Square, directly behind the building, there are two beautiful terraces surrounded by greenery, offering an oasis of calm. The Grand Café is open seven days a week from 11:00 am, with 100 seats inside and 70 on the terrace. The Restaurant is open from 17:00 from Thursday to Friday and as early as 12:00 on weekends. Here you can take a seat inside on one of the 150 chairs or enjoy the terrace with space for 90 guests. For the convenience of both guests and staff, parking is available in the adjacent Mariënburg car park.

The lunch and drinks menus are identical at both locations. However, the dinner menu in the Restaurant offers a slightly more extensive selection of dishes compared to the Grand Café. In addition, from 5:00 PM, the Grand Café serves six different artisanal pizzas and a delicious focaccia.
Our menus combine old and new classics and are updated twice a year. We work exclusively with products and ingredients of the highest quality, which you can taste in every dish.
At the Arsenal, we mainly welcome adult guests who appreciate the relaxed and informal atmosphere. We provide you with freshly laundered company clothing every day that contributes to a neat groomed appearance.
At Arsenal 1824, you will work in a stable and financially sound company, where a pleasant, safe working environment is paramount and where there is always room for both a laugh and a good conversation.
As a permanent employee, you will receive your salary on the 25th of the month; on-call workers will receive their wages on the 5th of the month. The Arsenal employs a total of 50 enthusiastic employees.
