Arsenaal 1824 is a beautiful hospitality business consisting of a Grand Café and Restaurant, both located in the historic national monument Vlaams Arsenaal, right in the center of Nijmegen. This monumental location offers a unique setting, where modern and tasteful design meets historical grandeur.

On the Arsenaalplaats, directly behind the building, there are two charming terraces surrounded by greenery, creating an oasis of calm. The Grand Café is open seven days a week from 11:00 AM, offering 100 seats indoors and 70 on the terrace. The Restaurant is open from Wednesday to Friday starting at 5:00 PM, and on weekends from 12:00 PM. Here, guests can sit at one of the 150 seats indoors or enjoy the terrace, which accommodates 90 guests. For the convenience of both guests and staff, there is parking available at the nearby Mariënburg parking garage.

Both the Grand Café and the Restaurant have an open Rosval kitchen, where your colleagues will prepare the most delicious French, Mediterranean and Oriental dishes. Everything is cooked, baked or grilled à la minute and fully electric, contributing to a sustainable and modern kitchen experience.

The lunch and drinks menus are identical at both locations. However, the dinner menu in the Restaurant offers a slightly more extensive selection of dishes compared to the Grand Café. In addition, from 5:00 PM, the Grand Café serves six different artisanal pizzas and a delicious focaccia.

Our menus combine old and new classics and are updated twice a year. We work exclusively with products and ingredients of the highest quality, which you can taste in every dish.

At the Arsenaal, we primarily welcome adult guests who appreciate the relaxed and informal atmosphere. We provide you with freshly washed company clothing every day, contributing to a neat and well-groomed appearance. At Arsenaal 1824, you will work in a stable and financially healthy company, where a pleasant and safe working environment is a priority, and where there is always room for both a smile and a good conversation.

As a permanent employee, you receive your salary on the 25th of the month, while on-call staff receive their pay on the 5th of the month. The Arsenal employs a total of 50 enthusiastic staff.
